Furiously locking the door, he crouched up onto the toilet seat and cried. So this was what he had waited two agonizing weeks for? For Nicky to have fallen in love? He started to punch the side of the cubicle until his knuckles bled. When he’d worn himself out and was sure class had already started, he crept out and stared into the mirror. Terrific. Puffy faced from crying, jacket covered in mud and bleeding knuckles.
